4th - 19th December 2009. all day FREE Exhibition, by the Information desk at Powerscourt Town centre, 59 South William Street.
As the year that has waved goodbye to the Celtic Tiger comes to end, it’s high time
for us all to celebrate Irish society and culture on a positive note and as creatively as
we dare. That is exactly what MakeupFabLicious Academy, the make-up college in
St Stephen’s Green, invited the public to do.
The graduates, working with Kip Carroll and their hair styling lecturer, Harriet Hillard, styled and carried out the make-up for the prints.All photos were taken at Collins Barracks, Dublin 7. One of the students also won an in-house competition and worked with Rosanna Davidson for the photocall on 17th November '09 at Powerscourt Town Centre. |
Apart from the prints, the students have also donated their time to assist in the fund raising campaign in aid of Barnardos carrying out face painting and mini makeovers over a number of days.
Calendars can be purchased from The MakeupFabLicious Academy, the Barnardos site, the Exclusively Irish Shop, Ground Floor, Powescourt Town Centre. and other selected shops until the end of January 2010.
